Oh, hi! Just poppin' in really quick today to share a Father's Day card I made for my Father-in-Law. I do struggle with masculine cards, but I gotta tell ya, that Triangle Turnabout Stamp is perfect for masculine cards. But it can totally be used for more girly cards, too.
The whole idea and design of the turnabout stamps from Concord & 9th is genius! Genius, I tell you! I have a sneaking suspicion that a few more of them are going to find their way into my little craft room.
Anywho . . . on to the card:

The truck stamp is a really old one . . . but it's still one of my favorites. You can see how the card came together in the video:
Oh, hi! I've got two Congratulations cards to share today because two couples I know just bought a house. And the Pink Avenue stamp set from Pink & Main was perfect! The set has a variety of houses and super cute accessories like trees, a mailbox, a birdhouse, even a little car.
Anywho, here's the first card. I googled a picture of Mr. and Mrs. S' house so I could get an idea of the colors of the house and it turns out that their house sits on a good chunk of property. Sooooo, I thought a simple layout of a sweet house surrounded by trees would be perfect.

I did a bit of masking and ink blending, too. You can see how it all came together in the video:
I also used a picture for inspiration for the second card. Mr. & Mrs. P's house is a cute little craftsman style with brick along the bottom and shaker shingles on the front. I was able to draw in the brick, but the shingles. . . not so much, so I opted for siding instead.
Oh, hi! Things are heating up here in Texas! Temps have been in the low to mid-90's already . . .and we've also had some weird scattered showers. Hello Humidity!
Anywho. . . on to today's card:

I received this set from Inky Antics and absolutely love how the images stamp! No Line Copic Coloring is something that I find to be really intimidating, but this set made it really easy to do!

Oh, hi! I've got something a bit different today. . . a Tri-Fold Card. Yep . . . the theme for June for my stamp club is to create a tri-fold card. And, I did some watercoloring using Distress Inks. Watercoloring is not something I do very often, but I think this card turned out really cute. Although, that probably had something to do with the super cute bears!
