A Bee on a Pile of Presents

Oh, hi!  Here's another card using those super cute bees from Pink & Main.  Seriously . . . look at how sweet his little face is!  And that balloon paper?? EVER so fun!  I'm not sure if it was done on purpose, but can I even tell you how easy it was to match Copics to that patterned paper??

Anywho. . . on to the card:

Do you change your mind when you're in the middle of making a card?  I do it all the time.  I didn't think I wanted to have such a big border around the patterned paper and stamped image, but I sure am glad I changed my mind on that one.  I think it really pulled the attention to the bee.

Two Color Copic Blends

Oh, hi!  I'm excited to share this card today!  I usually use three or four different Copics from the same color family when I do blending on an image, but for this rainbow, I only used a two color blend.  Yes! two.colors.  And I was able to maintain a really nice highlight.

But, can we talk about that polka dot frame for a minute? I mean, seriously . . . how perfect does that work with the rainbow??  There's just something about all the colors of the rainbow with a little bit of black and white added, am I right?

And, there's a video showing how the whole thing came together . . .well, except for the sequins because that was an after thought, but all ya gotta do is glue them down with some strong liquid glue.

Cheers!

Oh, hi! I've been super busy in my little craft room.  I have lots of cards to share. . .it's just a matter of getting all the blog posts and videos done.  Inspiration rolled in here like a thunderstorm in Texas and I decided to go with it and just create as much as I can.

Anywho. . . onto the card:

For this card, I decided to do the Eclipse Die-Cut technique. . . but use really tiny stamps.  Here's a close up so you can see the dimension of the word "Cheers," and how the cocktails are both on the dimensional die-cut and the stamped panel.  I'm really happy with how it turned out.

Although . . . there was one tiny little issue that occurred when I was pretty much done with the card. But, I wasn't going to start over, so I fixed it.  You can see how the whole thing came together in the video:

Supplies used:

Beach Worldly Women Stamp Set
