Whimsy Stamps Twinkle Scribble Circle & Snowy Watermill. . .

 Oh, hi! Have you seen the new Twinkle Scribble Circle die by Whimsy Stamps?? It's so delicate and pretty! And look look look how it frames the Snowy Watermill stamp!

{Supplies used are linked in the text in this post. Compensated affiliate links may be used at no additional cost to you. Thank you for your support!}

This card came together pretty quickly, too! I started by stenciling white ink with the Polka Dot stencil onto a piece of blue card stock and then I die-cut that panel with a Wonky Stitched Rectangle die. I adhered that to a piece of light tan card stock and then adhered that to the front of a top folding A2 sized notecard.

Next, I stamped the Snowy Watermill stamp on to a piece of white card stock with Stone Blue ink and die cut it using a Pierced & Stitched circle die. I used a make up blending brush with the same Stone Blue ink and added just a touch of color around the edge of the circle and then adhered that to the front of the card.

Then, I ran the Twinkle Scribble Circle die through my Gemini, Jr. with some silver glitter paper and adhered that on top of the Snowy Watermill.

To finish up my card, I stamped "Season's Greetings" from the Holiday Mini Sentiments set and used the stitched fish tail banner die from the Quick Strips die set to cut it . . and Viola! All done!

More Faux Postage

Oh, hi! I've got another card to share using the Extreme Postage Die Set by Whimsy Stamps. I just couldn't resist using the Hello Bear stamp set for this one.

{Supplies used are linked in the text in this post. Compensated affiliate links may be used at no additional cost to you. Thank you for your support!}

I started out by die-cutting three postage stamps using the Extreme Postage Die set from Cougar Super Smooth card stock. I masked off the edges with some Washi Tape and then stamped the bear and bee using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I created masks for the bears using Inkadinkado Masking Paper and covered up the bears. Then I did a bit of ink blending with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink.

I removed the masks from the bears and colored them up with my Copics. Then I removed the Washi Tape to reveal a nice white border around the bears. Viola! Faux postage!

I cut a piece of patterned paper from the Bizzy Bears paper pack down to 5 3/8" x 4 1/8" and adhered it to a white notecard. I adhered the "postage" stamps onto a piece of yellow card stock and then added foam tape to the back and adhered that to the front of the card.

I stamped the sentiment with VersaFine Onyx Black ink onto a piece of white card stock and trimmed it down to a skinny strip. I adhered it to the front of the card with foam tape and ta-da! All done!

Whimsy Stamps Extreme Postage Die Set

Whimsy Stamps Hello Bear Stamp Set

Whimsy Stamps Bizzy Bees Paper Pack

Neenah Classic Crest Card Stock

Whimsy Stamps Snowy Watermill - 2 Cards

Oh, hi! I've got two cards to share today using the new Snowy Watermill cling stamp by Whimsy Stamps. This stamp is so beautiful and can be used in so many different ways.

For my first card, I stamped the image onto a piece of Cougar Super Smooth card stock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. Then I colored it up with my Copics (colors used are listed at the bottom of this post) and to add a really wintery feel, I used a white gel pen to add some falling snow.

I trimmed the stamped panel down and adhered it to a piece of blue card stock and then adhered that to a top folding A-2 card base made from Neenah Desert Storm card stock.

{Supplies used are linked in the text in this post. Compensated affiliate links may be used at no additional cost to you. Thank you for your support!}

For my second card, I dove deep into the archives and decided to create a Faux Postage card. And the new Extreme Postage Die Set from Whimsy Stamps made it soooo easy!

I started out by using one of the dies from the Extreme Postage die set and die-cut it from a piece of Neenah Classic Crest card stock. I masked off the edges with some Washi Tape and then did a bit of ink blending with Old Paper and Bundled Sage Distress Inks.

With the Washi Tape still in place, I stamped the Snowy Watermill stamp right on top with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and then used my Copics to color in the image. To add a touch of sparkle, I used my Wink of Stella Glitter pen and went over all of the "snow."

When I removed the Washi Tape, I had a nice crisp white border around the edge to give the look of a postage stamp.

Next, I randomly stamped some snowflakes from the Snow Flurry stamp set onto a piece of green cardstock with VersaMark ink. And to add some snow, I spattered Dylusions White Spray Ink using a paint brush.

I adhered that panel to the front of a top folding A-2 sized note card made from light brown card stock. I added foam tape to the back of the "faux" postage stamp and added that to the front of the card. . . and Viola! all done!

Supplies used:

Copics Used:

Snow on ground - B60, V20, BV23
Grass - YG93
Trees - E27, E57
Wood - E23, E34

Whimsy Stamps Dead Dolly

 Oh, hi! I've got a couple cards to share today using the new Dead Dolly stamp set by Whimsy Stamps.

These little dollies are pretty cute . . . in a creepy kind of way . . .

Here's the first card:

{Supplies used are linked in the text in this post. Compensated affiliate links may be used at no additional cost to you. Thank you for your support!}

I started out by creating a mask for the moon. Then I used Milled Lavender, Victorian Velvet, and Seedless Preserves Distress Oxide inks to create the sky.  I used Ground Espresso and Vintage Photo Distress Oxide inks to create the ground.  For the moon, I used Hickory Smoke and Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxide ink.

I die cut the tombstones from the Build-a-Graveyard Die Set from Gray cardstock and added a bit of Hickory Smoke Distress Oxide ink around the edges. Then I die cut the fences and bats from black cardstock and adhered them to my ink blended panel.

I stamped the images on to Cougar Super Smooth Cardstock and colored them up with my Copics. I used my Brother Scan n' Cut machine to cut them out and popped them up with foam tape on the card panel.

I adhered that to the front of a top folding black notecard.

For the second card, I really wanted to use the new Wobbly Windows Slimline Die . .. I just knew the dollies would be perfect with it.

I used the same Distress Oxide inks for the background and then splattered it with Dylusions White Ink Spray and Ground Espresso Distress Oxide ink.

Next, I ran it through my Gemini, Jr. die-cutting machine and adhered it to the front of a dark brown slimline card base.  I embossed the sentiments with Detail White Embossing Powder.

I stamped the dollies onto Cougar Super Smooth Cardstock and colored them with my Copics.  I ran them through my Brother Scan n' Cut and added foam tape to the back of them and adhered them to the from of the card.

Supplies Used:

Dark Brown Cardstock

Distress Oxide Inks:
