Ice Cream, Anyone?

Oh, hi! I'm so excited to share this card with you! The minute I saw this stamp set from Colorado Craft Company, I knew I had to have it. The ice cream cone is huge. And I mean, HUGE! It's perfect to color with Copics . . . or any other medium, for that matter.

Since I colored up this image, I've been thinking about all the different ice cream flavors that are out there that would be fun to color.  And, I talk about that in the video, too:

Speaking of videos, here's the link to the Vanilla Arts video that I refer to, as well as a link to the blog post about refilling Copics, and the scale I use to weigh my markers.

A Fox and a Frog Go For a Bike Ride

Oh, hi! I'm back with another card using the Arteza Real Brush Pens.  I challenged myself to use a Water Brush and it was so much easier than I thought it would be. And the brush pens made it really easy to color in the teeniest tiniest parts of the stamped image.

I also have a special coupon for you to save 10% on your order at the Arteza Website!  Click here to shop and be sure to enter promo code: PROMO10 during checkout.

Now on to the card:

Succulent Sparkle

Oh, hi! I've been practicing with the Arteza Real Brush Pens a lot . . . and I still love them.  Here's a card I created using the Succulent Sparkle stamp set from Trinity Stamps.  I'm not a "watercolorist" by any means, but I'm really happy with how this card turned out.

I kinda had an idea to try and make it appear that the succulents were in a planter box of sorts, so with a little bit of embossing, stenciling and ink blending, I was able to create a "gravel" ground and a brick planter box.

You can see how it all came together in the video below:

Encouragement Hop - MFT Piggy Pebbles - How to Make the Smallest Pom Poms Ever

Oh, hi! I'm so excited to be a part of the Encouragement Hop that was put together by Courtney Kreeber,  Mary Polanco, and Jenn from Scrapbena Creations.  This is a hop to celebrate and encourage ALL crafters and I do hope that you'll hop along.  Who knows . . .you just might find a new favorite crafter to follow!

For my card, I used the super cute Piggy Pebbles from My Favorite Things.  Seriously . . .  her stance and expression just called for pompoms and a sentiment that reads, "I'm rooting for you."  Am I right??
