Anywhooo. . . when I sat down to color him up, I immediately went for my Cool Gray markers, but I wasn't quite getting the results I had hoped for. I tend to be heavy-handed, so he kept getting darker and darker and I lost the detail of his eyes and rosy cheeks. And, on top of that, the colors started to look a bit muddy because I over-blended it to death. 😳
So, I looked at my Copic Color Chart and decided to use Blue-Violet markers instead. Yes, Blue-Violet. And, ya know what? I really like how that little guy turned out.
