Whimsy Stamps Slimline Birthday Die - 2 Quick and Easy Cards

Oh, hi! I've got two cards to share with you today using the new Slimline Birthday Scallops Die from Whimsy Stamps. This first card came together really quickly!

For the card above, I die cut the candles from patterned paper from the Birthday Celebrations Paper Pack. I cut the flames from plain white card stock and colored them with my Copic Markers.

I die cut the scalloped frame from Neenah 80# Classic Crest Card Stock and I cut a piece of blue card stock to 3 1/4" x 8 1/4". I adhered the candles to the blue card stock and adhered the white scalloped frame on top of that.

I stamped the words "Wish Big" on to a separate piece of blue card stock using the Alfadoodles Stamp Set with VersaMark Ink and embossed it with Detail White Embossing Powder.

I used my Brother Scan N' Cut to cut out the letters and then adhered them to the top of the card.  I added some Glossy White Nuvo Drops to finish it up and Viola! Done!

Moving on to the second card:

It seems that I sometimes like to do things the hard way . . .but, when I do, I always share with you a much easier way to do things.  You can see how this card came together in the Video.
