More Bunnies

Two more Easter cards . . . and I forgot to keep track of which markers I used for these, too.  Sheesh.

This guy is by Whipper Snapper Designs . . . I'd work for jelly beans, too. Or chocolate.  Or both.

This super cute dude is Hoppy Easter Bunny Wobble by StampingBella . . . and I would definitely follow him . . .cuz he has chocolate!

Hippity Hoppity . . .

Easter's on its way.

Gotta make cards for those special Littles, ya know . . .

This sweet stamp is by American Art Stamp . . .I have had it fOrEvEr. . . . like I said. . . sometimes ya just gotta use a stamp that hasn't been used in a while.

A bunny wearing a carrot hat . . .perfect.  That little guy is by Eat Cake Graphics.  I love her whimsical designs.  And that little chick . . . he's from Memory Box.

The images were colored with Copics . . .but I forgot to take pictures of them.  Ooops.

Oh My Orchids

My mother-in-law has orchids. . . the most beautiful orchids.  She's definitely got a green thumb. . . maybe two.

I, on the other hand, can kill a silk plant by looking at it too long . . . sigh . . .

Good thing there are lots of stamps of plants and flowers and such out there. . . like these by Power Poppy.  Can't kill an image of a flower, right?

April's theme for stamp club happens to be "In the Garden" . . . so I decided to use these stamps.  I actually stamped and colored the orchids a number of times. . . just to play around with different colors. . . because orchids are available in at least a bazillion different colors.  I had no idea.

Here's what I came up with for my club card:

And these are the Copics I used:

The die cut label by Spellbinders was inked with Peanut Brittle Memento ink after I embossed it. The sentiment is by Kennedy Grace Designs and I used a banner die from Avery Elle or Lawn Fawn . . .I can't remember who makes those dies. . . to cut that out.  The little banner is also inked with Peanut Brittle Memento.

Now. . . I had no intention of cutting out that image . . . none . . . but one of my green markers decided to pool and drop a big old blob of ink . . . and there was no way I was going to start over, so I pulled out my scissors and a craft knife . . . see? Everything can be fixed.

And here's another card using the same stamp . . . but this time I stamped the orchids in Gray Flannel Memento ink instead of Tuxedo Black.

And here are the Copics I used:

The Stitched Oval dies are from Memory Box.  I also created a mask so I could sponge around the orchids with Antique Linen Distress Ink to make the "white" look brighter.

Must.Have.These.Stamps.

I have been stamping a long time . ..  since 2001 to be exact.  So . . .when looking for new stamps, I look for something unique . . . I prefer hand drawn images over "clip-art" images . . .that's just my preference.

Anyway . . . I was watching one of Kelly Latevola's YouTube videos (btw, if you haven't watched her videos, I highly recommend it. . . she's awesome!) and she was using this stamp and another one with feathers . . . and I was pleasantly surprised to learn that they were made by Spellbinders.

I mean really . . . LOOK . . . it's a Peony AND Mandalas . . .and it also comes with the coordinating die.  I had to have it!

You know where this is going don't you?  Of course, you do . . .

Off to the site I go to get this fabulous stamp . . .and look look look what else I found:

A Sunflower!  With a Mandala!  (add to cart)

A Moon Flower! Reminds me of my tattoo!  (add to cart)

Feathers!  With Flowers!  Genius! (add to cart)

Yep . . . I had to have them all.  And I gotta say . . .when I saw that feather stamp, I thought . . .ooooh . . that would be an awesome tattoo . . . um . . .then I looked up the artist who designed these stamps. . .and guess what?  She IS a tattoo artist.  Her name is Stephanie Low and she is so amazing!  Check her out, you guys!

Hmmmm . . . I've been thinking about having a half-sleeve done . . . how awesome would it be to collaborate with her to design it?  A girl can dream, right?

A Few More Irish Chicks

Oh . . .I dunno . . .they're just so fun!  So, I made a few more cards.

I did a little bit of masking for this card . . . and added glitter to the rainbow.

I tried masking for this card, but that didn't work out so well . . . so I just cut that little dude out with the coordinating die.

Irish Chicks

St. Patty's Day is just around the corner . . . and since StampingBella had these cute little guys on sale, well, why not?

Again. . . the card designs were definitely inspired by others that I saw when I consulted the Google.
